A New York City penthouse spanning the 89th and 90th floors of a luxury condominium building fetched $90 million from an undisclosed buyer, making it the highest price paid for an apartment in the city, according to a report from CNNMoney.
Not so long ago, I blogged about another New York City penthouse that was selling for a record $88 million, beating the prior record by $35 million. The new record-breaker, which comprises 10,923 square feet, is under construction and is expected to be ready for occupancy next year.
